Villa Dalmacija in Split is one of the most popular wedding venues in this part of Croatia. Known for its unique position, superb views, and full privacy, this remarkable villa is the ideal location for both your ceremony and reception. It is one of the most popular places to get married in Split.
Situated on the southern slopes of Marjan Hill, villa Dalmacija offers spectacular sea views and a level of privacy that is hard to find elsewhere. Built in 1914, this magnificent property is a beautiful example of a villa at the time—it has high ceilings, elegant and traditional design, and a big entrance. The villa was built as the villa Schiller by the well-known Czech entrepreneur Franjo Schiller. It kept its name until 1947, when the President of Yugoslavia at the time, Josip Broz Tito, took the villa for his personal use. Ever since then, this beautiful villa has been known as ‘Tito’s villa’, and this name remains until today.
The villa has a long pier suitable for a wedding ceremony, as well as spacious areas for cocktail reception and dinner. It also offers an inside area for backup in case of a bad weather scenario.
