For how long have you been in the business?
Chic Croatia’s lead planner, Željana Udovićic Stambuk, brings over two decades of distinguished experience in event planning, with a focus on the enchanting regions of Dubrovnik and Split. Renowned for her impeccable attention to detail and creative vision, she has curated a diverse array of exclusive events—from sophisticated corporate galas and incentive programs to celebrity gatherings, lifestyle festivals, and unforgettable weddings and intimate celebrations. How far in advance should I book your services?
Ideally, a year to a year and a half in advance, giving us enough time to work on all aspects of your wedding plan in-depth. However, many couples tend to have a relaxed approach and decide to book last moment, which also works for us. With good planning, your wedding venue of choice, and reliable vendors, Chic Croatia will plan and coordinate your most special day, even if booked at the last moment.
Can we book you for partial planning?
Unfortunately not, we only offer full wedding planning services.
With only partial planning, we can not guarantee the high level of service and event execution that we promise to deliver.
Are there wedding destinations in Croatia that you can recommend?

Do you charge for an initial consultation?
We’re delighted to provide a complimentary first consultation to get to know your needs and wishes. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing your upcoming Croatia wedding. From the initial consultation beginning to the end of your special event, Chic Croatia will support You and guide you along the way.
Are deposits refundable?
Partial deposits are usually required when making a booking. In regards to a deposit refund, it is not refundable unless the contract states otherwise.
Please note that Chic Croatia will state when a deposit is refundable (or not) before confirming a vendor and making a deposit payment.
Do I need to tip wedding vendors?
It's up to you. Tipping is not required or expected. Feel free to tip if you have received extraordinary service.
What are the pros of organizing a destination wedding in Croatia?

What will the weather be like?
This is a difficult question to answer. Weather is the only thing we have no control over. Most events in spring and autumn take place outside when the weather is usually mild and warm but not guaranteed. Closer to the the date we will monitor the weather forecast and recommend a backup venue if needed.

Hiring a wedding planner is always a wise decision. A professional planner will guide you through every step of the process, from the initial concept to the wedding day itself.

What services do you offer?
We offer complete wedding planning services: initial consultation and discussion, budgeting, planning, booking and contracting, overall coordination, and management. Chic Croatia is your Croatia-based wedding planner to plan and oversee all aspects of your wedding planning.
What types of weddings do you plan?
We plan all types of weddings – from small and intimate to big, lavish ones. Chic Croatia will help you plan and coordinate a civil, religious or symbolic ceremony in Croatia, depending on what you would like to have. We also plan and organize birthday parties, anniversary events and all other social events.
What are the busiest months for a destination wedding in Croatia?
The busiest months are typically May, June, and September through mid-October. However, July and August also tend to be busy months for wedding planning, despite the warmer weather.
What style of weddings do you plan?
My wedding planning approach is fully tailored to each couple. I take the time to listen carefully to your wishes and help bring the wedding of your dreams to life. You are the one who shapes your own celebration, making all the key decisions about its style and design. However, if you’d like guidance or inspiration, I can always recommend experienced wedding stylists or designers to assist you.
How many meetings can we expect to have with you?
Most of our communication is conducted via email; however, I am always available for Zoom or online meetings when needed—particularly for significant decisions such as venue selection, décor and floral design choice, or the confirmation of other key vendors. Typically, the planning process includes three to four meetings, though this may vary depending on each couple’s preferences and the complexity of the wedding. Some clients require only a few calls, while others benefit from more frequent meetings to ensure every detail is perfectly coordinated.
Serving vendor meals at your wedding - is it recommended?
Absolutely yes.
Generally speaking you will be asked to provide a meal for your vendors - wedding coordinator on the day of the wedding, photo and video team, sound and light technicans, dj and entertainment artists. However, please note that vendor meals are simpler than the main wedding menu—typically a basic, satisfying meal rather than a full multi-course service.
Will you be at my wedding?
Absolutely, yes, Chic Croatia's project manager and lead planner will be by your side on your wedding day. Chic Croatia clients’ satisfaction is our absolute priority, which is why we are by your side from the very beginning of the day. We will assist with every detail—from setup and vendor coordination to overseeing the entire day’s schedule—ensuring everything runs seamlessly so you can fully relax and enjoy your most important day.
What is it that you do not do?
Chic Croatia Wedding Planner does not create guest lists or design websites. We can review these elements if needed, but we do not produce them, as they are outside our scope of services.
We also do not make decisions on your behalf unless you specifically request it. You are the creator of your wedding vision and the one selecting vendors based on your style and budget. However, we are here to provide guidance and recommendations whenever needed.
As we are not a licensed travel agency, we cannot make holiday arrangements for you. However, we are happy to offer advice and recommend travel experts if required.
