Here are some popular questions regarding the Chic Croatia planner, the booking and planning process, our approach, budgeting, and other relevant aspects of wedding planning.

Chic Croatia has just launched recently. Chic Croatia's head planner, Zeljana Udovicic Stambuk has been in the event planning business for more than 20 years, based primarily in Dubrovnik and Split. She has organized numerous events, from corporate galas and incentives, lifestyle festivals, and special promotional events, to fabulous weddings and intimate celebrations.  

Ideally, a year to a year and a half in advance, giving us enough time to work on all aspects of your wedding plan in-depth. However, many couples tend to have a relaxed approach and decide to book last moment, which also works for us. With good planning, a Special venue, and reliable vendors, Chic Croatia will plan and coordinate your most special day, even if booked at the last moment.

Unfortunately not, we only offer the entire package and coordination services. With only partial planning, we can not guarantee the high level of service and event execution that we promise to deliver.  

Many destinations in Croatia are breathtaking and magnificent. Chic Croatia has a special love for the island of Brac, which we like to recommend to our clients. Also, there is something magical about Croatian islands – we love and cherish the islands' tranquillity, nature and slow pace of living.  

No, the initial consultation is free of charge. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing your upcoming Croatia wedding. From the initial consultation beginning to the end of your special event, Chic Croatia will support You and guide you along the way. 

 

Partial deposits are usually required when making a booking. In regards to a deposit refund, it is not refundable unless the contract states otherwise. 

Please note that Chic Croatia will state when a deposit is refundable (or not) before confirming a vendor and making a deposit payment. 

It's up to you. Tipping is not required or expected. Feel free to tip if you have received extraordinary service.

This is a difficult question to answer. Weather is the only thing we have no control over. Most events in spring and autumn take place outside when the weather is usually mild and warm but not guaranteed. Closer to the the date we will monitor the weather forecast and recommend a backup venue if needed. 

Hiring a wedding planner is always a good idea. A professional wedding planner will help you plan your most special day from the beginning until your wedding day. Wedding planning assistance for your Croatia wedding includes the following:

The busiest months are May, June and September to mid-October. Please keep in mind that special offers for early bookings and confirmations are often more affordable.
