Lots of love, hundreds of fairy lights, and local grapas – that’s a recipe for a romantic island wedding in Croatia. K + B’ s “fairy lights and olive trees” wedding was one of the most relaxed, yet emotional weddings we have had a chance to witness. As the wedding took place on the island of Brac, the couple wanted an elegant Mediterranean vibe and decided to decorate tables with traditional greenery, candles, and lemon centerpieces. Hundreds and hundreds of fairy lights, combined with natural olive trees, created a memorable wedding setting.
After the beautiful religious ceremony that took place at the Church of the Annunciation of Mary in Supetar on the island of Brac, the guests were invited to the cocktail hour and dinner at the Storija restaurant in Supetar on the island of Brac. Guests were welcomed by local aperitifs and shots, as well as local specialties and snacks such as prosciutto and melon canape and local cheese delicacy “skuta”. The dinner also took place in the romantic setting of Storija surrounded by hundreds of years old olive trees, with fairy lights scattered overhead. The reception was held at sunset, to enjoy romantic views overlooking the bay of Supetar and the city of Split in the distance. Fairy lights, numerous candles, and white linens created a beautiful atmosphere for a memorable springtime island wedding in Croatia. The Storija restaurant in Supetar is one of the most beautiful wedding locations on the island, offering authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with magnificent views and a traditional, authentic setting.
